It has turned into a tradition that every Saturday morning we are home, Daddy makes the kids something special for breakfast. Usually waffles, pancakes or crepes. Purple Girl enjoyed helping her daddy made waffles this particular morning.

Edible Snowmen
It snowed last week, so I made the kids some edible snowmen.
Busy Bee always has a hug for Big Brother.

Winter Activity - Straw Run
What can we do with all this energy!
The kids are hopping and ready for excitement, especially every day after naptime.
Today it was run around the kitchen loop and grab a straw from your sibling. Get ten straws and then switch! This took some energy- but it seems like sometimes the more we release, the more we have.
Busy Bee enjoyed the excitement also and ran around several times with a hand full of straws.

Winter Activity - Blowing Bubbles
Winter time is upon us and cabin fever is starting to set in (at least for mom it is)!
I am ready for SPRING!!!!
So, I am trying to come up with some creative activities. This afternoon it was blowing bubbles! This kept the kids busy for a while (and I think they only swallowed the soap a few times).

Movie Night with Grandma
Grandma babysat the children so mom and dad could have a date night! This was again when Purple Girl was just starting to get sick, so it seemed like a great night for cuddling and watching a movie.

J.A.B.E. Restaurant - Ready to Serve You
The kids had a special the other evening for their grandparents. They made a restaurant called J.A.B.E.'s Restaurant (Jakin, Aveyah, Baby and Eliana),
and had Grandma and Grandpa over to serve them.
First they made up the menus - we had Taco's, Chips and Salsa and Jello for dessert.
Then they helped make dinner.
Little Man told me they needed name tags, so I made those also.
And of course, they all had to dress up.
They were SO excited for Grandpa and Grandma to arrive. They ate dinner ahead of time, so Grandma and Grandpa could have a "romantic" dinner.
They took their orders.
And finally they served them dinner.
What did Busy Bee do?
She found a lap and enjoyed round number two of dinner for her that night.
I don't think Grandma minded sharing.

Nice enough to be outside
A little earlier in the month of January we had some nice days that allowed us to get outside. Unfortunately they came right during some of the children being sick. Purple Girl was just starting to get sick, but we still decided to head outside.
Purple Girl had to stay in the stroller (although she kept asking to get out).
Little Man and daddy played some basketball together.
And Busy Bee LOVED the freedom of being outside and carrying her ball around.
