Crafts and activities for Fun Friday!

We made turkey's for Thanksgiving.

Then we did a STEM activity.

Using craft sticks and binder clips,

how tall can you build?

The two above attempted this challenge.

It was a little difficult for the younger, so

they had fun with craft sticks and clothes pins.

Everyone had fun building something.

And BIG J won for the tallest.

She built a rollercoaster.

I guess I didn't get a picture,

but even Puppy J had fun and was 

sticking clothes pins to the sticks

and calling them his chain saws.

Craft Show

The girls, Aunt Kelly, cousin J, Grammie and 

myself went to our annual craft show in town.

We had a fun day.

Pumpkin Carving

The kids look forward to this every year.

Daddy worked on a pumpkin for the the four youngest kids.

And Big J got to do his own pumpkin this year.

Trick Or Treating

The children all dress up.

It was a cold, windy evening (high 30's).

We went to a few friend's homes, and 

then went to the nursing home to trick or treat.

It was special, because we visit there once a month,

so we know several of the people who live there.

After visiting the nursing home,

we went over to Nathan's Grandma's.

We enjoyed some candy at GiGi's 

and then went home.

Two Singing Kiddos

These two were playing cookies together,

singing the whole time.

All our children sing some,

but most often it is these two we hear

humming a tune, making up a new song

or singing a song they know.

The other day in the van Puppy J was singing

his own song he said was called "Happy."

The lyrics:  "Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy..."

He was upset when one of his sisters asked

him to sing another song.
