Human Body Projects

We study the human body for the first semester for science this fall.

Their end of year project was to pick a system of the body and

using miscellaneous items around house create that system.

Science Museum

Another day to keep us busy, we went to the Science Museum.

Enjoying pulling themselves up this pulley system

although I think he was able to get himself up also

Grammie and Farmer J both made it to the top also

and then the platform shakes as if an earthquake.

All the kids loved watching their creations come down.

Another nice day.  

Bowling

We tried to keep nice and busy while Nathan was out of town.  

One night we went bowling with the cousins and Grammie.

Excavator Man had a great time.  He actually got 2 or 3 spares 

(using this ramp to push his ball down and the bumpers) -

 but boy was he excited to see all the pins go down!

Farmer J tried all different approaches...

this particular time he threw the ball starting between his legs.

The bowling alley is at the Bass Pro Shop.

So after we bowled and ate (they had a deal going on right now

that with purchase of 1 adult meal, you can get up to 6 free kids meals! 

Quite the deal for our family.  But it is only through Christmas.)

Any ways - we went out into the store and looked at the big aquariums. 

Caroling

The girls are singing in the church choir for Christmas this up coming weekend.  

They went with some of the choir to a nursing home this past week and caroled.

Evening with Cousins

Daddy was out of town for a week for work and since Uncle J works with Dad, he was gone also.  So one of the evenings we went over and enjoyed dinner together at the cousin's home.  

We took this picture and sent it to the dad's as we were certain they were missing all this craziness!
