She's a MOM

Purple Girl is constantly telling me that she is a "MOM."  If I call her my little girl, she says "No, I am not your little girl, I am your big Mom."  She loves doing everything I do with Little J with her babies.  I have been nursing a lot these days, so Purple Girl spends a lot of time nursing her babies too.

 

 

Purple Girl Conversation with Little J

Little J is starting to "talk" and the kids love hearing what he has to say.  Purple Girl sat next to him the other day and was asking him questions.  He was "talking" back to her and she loved it.  She asked him "Little J, do you like purple?"  He made a noise and she says to me "Mom, Little J just said he loves Purple Flowers."

 

Only Purple Girl would hear this in Baby talk. 

Pool

We got a new small pool for the back yard.  The girls were very excited to try it out.

  Purple Girl could not wait to go swimming (and jumping).

Super Dad

The kids are so blessed to have their Daddy!  He truly is an amazing man and I am so grateful for him!  We had a wonderful holiday weekend together - didn't do any thing too extra special - but just a nice weekend.  The kids, of course, loved having their daddy around home for one extra day too.

They just love having their daddy home.  They know that he loves them and that

he loves spending time with them. 

In our world, he truly is "Super Dad!"

 

More Conversation and Smiles

I had a few moments alone with Little J before church the other morning,

so we had some time to "talk."

He is growing and changing so much every day.

We are so thankful for this little guy.

it is adorable to watch him try to carry on a conversation with you.

 

And, if I am blessed, I will get a few smiles from him too.

Electricty Man

Big J loves to read books (have I mentioned that?).  Once he reads a book, he comes to me with several ideas of things he wants to do.  This time it was building electricity lines.  This is what he came up with on his own.

Girls and their Baby's

These two little girls LOVE their baby dolls.  Purple Girl carries her baby's with her every where she goes and she is constantly telling me she is real mom.  Of course, in her mind this means she can do "mom" things on her own too. 

 

It is so sweet to see these little ladies loving their babies and enjoying taking care of them.

Man Tooth

Big J is SO excited!  He has had a loose tooth for awhile now and has been anxiously awaiting for it to come out.  He actually has his "man tooth" as he calls it, already growing in behind.  This past week his "baby" tooth finally fell out. 

 

 

Big Sister's "Decorate" Little J

Little J never saw his two older sister's coming.  He was sound asleep as they started to put jewelry on him.  It would have been a lot more, but mom stopped them.

 

 

It wasn't long and Big J saw what was going on and quickly removed the jewelry. 

Good thing he has his big brother looking out for him.

Mother's Day Photo

I tried to get a picture with the kids on Mother's Day (before we left for church).  It has taken a little more effort these days to get out of the house on time,

so grabbing a quick photo before we left was hurried.

I am not sure the excitement that comes from playing under a table, but our kids love it. 

 From the kitchen table, to the dining room table, to the table on the deck. 

They love to crawl under and pretend it is their home.

First HOT Day

We had a nice, HOT day yesterday - in the 90's. 

So, after nap time while Little J was still sleeping, I tried to find some ways for the kids to cool off.

 

First they played with squirt bottles.

 

 

Next, we got out our "pool" and the kids enjoyed splashing around.

 

 

However, Busy Bee did not like the water getting on her.

 

 

Finally, we enjoyed a nice big glass of lemonade!

 

 

We LOVE summer!!!!!!

 

 

 

Bobble the Egg

Purple Girl has another new saying.  When she helps me bake she loves cracking the eggs all by herself.  Next, she ask me if she can "bobble" the egg.  Meaning:  beat the egg.

Princess and Her Baby

Purple Girl loves dressing up like a princess and she loves her baby brother!  She tells everyone that we have a new baby in our house now.  She wants to be a princess when she grows up and has made sure that princesses can have babies.  She tells her big brother that she already is a mom - she carries her baby doll around with her every where she goes.

Growing Up

Busy Bee is starting to look so grown up to me.  She is at the age that she makes us laugh a lot with her cute sayings and adorable smiles.  She loves to entertain us too - so brings our family a lot of laughs and smiles :)

This Little Man loves to read!  Most of you already know that about him.  So, this picture will come as no surprise.  I told the kids we were going outside to play and this is scene I come across:
