Summer days
I Love Summer!
I love being able to do simple things and go
places on the spur of the moment.
We went to the library and a park first thing in the morning.
Then we came back and painted rocks, sticks, and leaves.
(Thanks lady I met at the park for this simple idea)
Then we discovered an inch worm,
and enjoyed watching it at work.
See the long green thing below...
Then this lady of course had to touch it
and hold it!
We read our library books outside.
We attempted to make homemade playdough...
smiles...not sure this really worked out,
but the girls found a way to play with it and have fun.
Dinner, showers, little kids to bed with Grandpa to
watch them and off to Big Brother's late baseball game.
Overall, a nice summer day.

Field Trip
We went to a local museum and had a fun day
with some friends.
We saw some animals...below the kids are
looking at a turtle.
This guy really liked this turtle below.
These ladies enjoyed dressing up in old time
dresses.
And this little guy really wanted to put on
a dress also. We satisfied him with
this blouse.
We went into an old cabin.
Did some chores on the farm, like beating
the rugs below (watch out big boys, here
comes Farmer J)
And the big boys had their hand
at working together with this saw.
We went to school in an old schoolhouse.
These ladies got called to the board
to write their names in cursive.
Then we took some nets and went down to
the creek to try to catch some small fish and minnows.
Thankfully us moms brought extra clothes, as
not a child was dry after this adventure.
Lastly our tour guide showed us some of
his snakes.
It was a fun filled day.

Field Trip IPTV
Now that school is out, we have time for
field trips : )
We went to a local television station.
The kids were super excited to get to meet
people they see on TV.
We had a really fun tour.

Our Two Boys!
Got to love the energy these two bring to our home.
Here they are attempting to lay by
one another in a chair.
We all knew the stillness would not last long.
It seems to always turn to wrestling.
And then trying to conquer.
