Big Books
Little J adores his big brother and wants to be just like him. Part of being like Big J is reading books. And according to Little J, not just any book, but BIG books like his BIG brother.
He doesn't even want me to read a basic board book to him,
it has to be one of these big books. He calls them all his BIBLE!
He loves to look at the pictures and ask me questions.
Right now every person is a BOY! If you try to tell him
it is a girl, he will have quite the debate with you
and repeat over and over again that all people are BOYS!

Baby Love
Our girls just adore their baby dolls.
Busy Bee keeps telling me how she cannot WAIT until she is a mommy.
She wants a real baby so bad.
Purple Girl also adores babies and her baby doll. She took her baby to school with her. She loved how she could work and still have her baby Belle close to her.
I know how she feels.
I also can't wait to carry our new little
one around while I work in my Ergo!

Daddy's Helpers
Daddy had his two favorite helpers on Saturday morning while reloading .223 ammunition.
The intention was for it to be daddy and Big J's time together, but as Little J watched the
boys head to the basement, he just couldn't be left behind. So, daddy found a job for him.
Little J's job was helping put ammunition in boxes.
Big J was using the press to install the bullet tip into the shell.

Trip to KC - Story Time
In the evenings the hotel had story time for the children in the lobby.
These pictures were from earlier in the day. Sometimes mom would sit and wait for Big J while he searched for items on the scavenger hunt.
Here are the story time pictures.
Purple Girl was exhausted by night two. She had swam for two days
and hiked all over the hotel with her big brother.
She was falling asleep at story time and actually asked
to go to bed.

Trip to KC - MagiQuest
The hotel also had a scavenger hunt that the children could do. You purchase a wand and then follow all the clues to find certain items around the hotel.
After you complete the hunt, you fight the big dragon.
Big J really enjoyed this.
Purple Girl enjoyed all the treasure boxes and
seeing the jewels inside.
Fighting the dragon.

TRIP TO KC - Swimming
The hotel we stayed at had an indoor water park. Of course the kids loved to go swimming.
They had much bigger slides than these with tubes and everything.
The two oldest loved the bigger slides with daddy -
I just didn't get any pictures.

Trip to KC - Lego Land
Before the baby comes in February, God willing, we wanted to go on one more family trip. So, we packed up and head to Kansas City for a couple days.
First stop - Lego Land!
The kids had a great time exploring.
Daddy and Big J built a race car to race together.
The girls had fun playing in the Lego kitchen area.
And this little guy met a friend his same height.
First stop - fun!

Visit to Great Grandpa and Great Grandma's
We were blessed to take a trip to visit Great Grandpa and Great Grandma.
The kids always enjoy playing games with Grandma.
Everyone enjoyed some special time with her.
This Little guy enjoyed
sitting on Grandma's lap and listening to her
sing some songs and tell some stories.
He had plenty of kisses for her too.

Christmas Part 4
Our final Christmas celebration was at GiGi's in town. It has become a tradition that the whole family goes to GiGi's for dinner and a Christmas program we put on for GiGi and her friends. I am not musically talented, so I sit back and enjoy the show. But the rest of the family participates.
The children put on a Nativity skit.
This year we had a shepherd, Mary and a sheep.
We also had an adorable little donkey.
The entire cast.
Mary got to sit with Baby Jesus.
Busy Bee ended up being quite the
entertainer of the show.
At the end the family band plays.
Busy Bee was getting tired towards the end,
so she found a nice resting place.
We were blessed to have a very
Merry Christmas and wonderful time
with all the family we got to spend time with.
