Our Purple Girl is FIVE years old today! It is so hard to believe.
We are so blessed to have her and thank God for the many things HE has taught us through her life already. Her birthday theme this year is SHINE for Jesus from Matthew 5:16, which says:
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
The reason we choose this theme, is because Purple Girl is all about being a lady and loves any thing that SHINES - glitter, jewelry, nail polish! It was also special because just a few weeks ago she said she had made up a song and wanted to sing it to me. I don't remember all the words, but it went something like this:
"We love Jesus. We want to do everything for the glory of God. We want to obey Him, because we love him. It is all for the glory of God." It was super sweet and reminded me of the verse above.
Purple Girl still LOVES everything
there is about being a lady. She loves to
dress up in pretty dresses, fancy shoes, and
hair accessories.
She often changes SEVERAL times a day and
loves trying on outfits.
After making Purple Girl stand or sit still for some
pictures, she was finally able to stand up
and do what she does best - especially in a dress like this:

Purple Girl loves babies, loves CHOCOLATE,
loves PEPSI (thanks to her Grammie), loves to
be on the move, loves to be outside, and loves drawing pictures.
She also LOVES to be tickled!
She doesn't understand why some people
don't enjoy this - as she loves it and
she loves to GIGGLE!
She adores her baby brother, has so much fun playing with her little
sister, and can get quite goofy with her big brother.
We praise the Lord for her and look forward
to seeing what year five will bring!
